I remember once going to do in Bologna that shopping in a supermarket of great distrubution there was an envelope with two tiers of sausages, hot dogs in cages, hot dogs fighting, what were they? Oh … a creepy … these deals packaged and wrapped in a jelly foul …
The “so” we insist on eating are finely chopped a myriad of culinary atrocities, production of waste, shredding parts of prorpio noble animals (what makes me laugh when you say “sausages light” or “chicken. “Lightweight and what parts of the chicken? dewclaws?), a sci-fi amalgam of flavors and spices and industrial synthetic false in order to cover – imperfections – that are needed.
Do you want to do a search on the Internet on how the sausages are made … haha! You will not find much. But know ‘that they use, as the innocent “cheese” substances called emulsifying salts, chemicals that dissolve and mix the fat in the meat course, parts of the meat protein and a little’ less noble parts (such as helping the grinding the beaks of chickens, here.)
I speak of frankfurters in bag and not even those bought in Monaco of Bavaria in Germany or a juicy country fair, of course.
I’m not a vegetarian, indeed. But every once in a while ‘awareness of how to mistreat our body does just fine. Or not?
Of course, if we must think of all that swallowed the urge to starve to death ….
